Daily Carriers, and What That Changes for You
On most lanes the honest question is how long until dispatch. In Ahmedabad it usually is not. Carriers running between Delhi NCR and Mumbai pass through daily, and Ahmedabad has enough of its own outbound volume — corporate relocations, the Sanand auto belt, families moving to and from Gujarat — to fill a slot quickly in either direction.

Gujarat Heat and What It Does to a Parked Car
From March to June, surface temperatures on an open trailer bed climb well past what a car sees in daily use, and the car is exposed to it for the whole run. Modern paint handles this without complaint. Dashboards, leather and anything left inside the cabin do not.
Two things follow. Empty the cabin properly — aerosols, electronics, sunglasses, anything adhesive-mounted. And if the car will sit at the destination for weeks before being driven, this is one of the few routes where an enclosed carrier earns its cost for reasons other than paint protection. We will say which case you are in rather than upselling by default.
Where the Roads Go From Here
Southbound to Mumbai the run is short and fast on NH 48, which is why that lane is priced closer to a metro shuttle than an intercity move. Northbound to Delhi NCR the same highway crosses Rajasthan, and the newer expressway sections have shortened it noticeably over the last few years.
Eastward, Hyderabad and Bangalore mean crossing the Deccan and the days go up accordingly. Jaipur and Pune both sit at a comfortable single-stage distance. In each case we quote the transit from the current road, not from an older map.
