Delhi to Indore transport charges
Delhi to Indore is a mid-distance route, so the truck size and the type of goods matter more than small changes in kilometres. Use this table to plan your budget. The freight in our written quote is final, and GST is charged on top of it.
| Truck | Typical load | Delhi to Indore (full truck) |
|---|---|---|
| Tata Ace / small pickup | about 750 kg to 1 tonne | ₹14,000 – 22,000 |
| 14 ft truck (Tata 407 / Eicher class) | about 2.5 to 4 tonnes | ₹22,000 – 34,000 |
| 19 ft / 20 ft truck | about 5 to 7 tonnes | ₹32,000 – 46,000 |
| 22 ft / 24 ft truck | about 7 to 10 tonnes | ₹42,000 – 62,000 |
| 32 ft single-axle (SXL) | about 7 to 9 tonnes, high volume | ₹52,000 – 76,000 |
| 32 ft multi-axle (MXL) | about 15 to 18 tonnes | ₹62,000 – 92,000 |
| 40 ft container / trailer | about 20 to 26 tonnes | ₹85,000 – 1,25,000 |
| Part load (shared truck) | per tonne | ₹5,500 – 8,500 per tonne |
One-way full-truck ranges. Load capacity varies by vehicle type and the rules that apply to it. A second drop on the way, for example in Dewas or Ujjain, is added to the quote.
How the truck travels to Indore
There are two main road options. One goes through Rajasthan by way of Jaipur and Kota. The other is the old Agra-Bombay road, which runs through Agra, Gwalior, Shivpuri and Guna and reaches Indore by way of Dewas. The driver picks the road based on the load, the truck size and the drop point in Indore.
A full truck usually takes 2 to 3 days from pickup to delivery. A part load takes 1 to 2 days more because the truck collects other bookings for the same direction before it leaves.
Where goods go in Indore
Indore is the main trading city of Madhya Pradesh. A lot of Delhi freight goes to its wholesale markets, such as Siyaganj and the Loha Mandi area, and to industry in Sanwer Road and nearby Pithampur, a large automobile and engineering cluster. We also deliver to shops, offices and homes across the city, and to Dewas and Ujjain on request.
If your drop is inside a busy market, tell us the unloading hours and any lane restrictions. We plan the arrival so the truck does not wait for hours outside the market.
Goods we move on this route
- Auto parts, tools and engineering goods for workshops and factories.
- Electrical and hardware stock for traders.
- Machines and equipment, with skids or crating when needed.
- Office furniture and IT equipment for branch moves.
- Household goods for families moving to Indore.
Chemicals, gas cylinders and flammable goods need special handling and paperwork. Please tell us about them at the start so we can confirm whether we can carry them.
Example: a trader's shipment to Indore
A Delhi hardware trader sends 2 tonnes of stock to a dealer in Siyaganj. As a part load, 2 tonnes at ₹5,500 to ₹8,500 per tonne is about ₹11,000 to ₹17,000. A reserved 14 ft truck costs ₹22,000 to ₹34,000. For regular stock that can arrive a day or two later, the part load is the cheaper option. GST is added to either amount.
Full truck load versus part load
A full truck load (FTL) reserves the whole truck for you. It is the usual choice for 3 tonnes or more, but a smaller load can also go in its own truck when it is fragile, urgent or should not be unloaded on the way.
A part load (PTL) is charged per tonne. It suits traders sending regular smaller lots to Indore, as long as a day or two of extra time is fine. Goods are packed and marked so they can be unloaded without disturbing other cargo.
Pickup points in Delhi
We collect from all of Delhi, including Chandni Chowk and Sadar Bazar traders, Lawrence Road, Mangolpuri and Bawana, and from Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and Gurgaon. If loading is at a market where trucks cannot stand during the day, we send a smaller vehicle to bring the goods to the main truck.
Documents for Delhi to Indore goods
- Tax invoice or delivery challan.
- E-way bill for taxable goods worth more than ₹50,000. Its validity depends on distance, so for Indore it covers a few days of travel.
- Receiver details with a phone number in Indore.
- For used household goods, a packing list and self-declaration.
You get a lorry receipt (LR) at loading with the package count and delivery address.
Booking steps
- Share the pickup address, the Indore address, the goods list and the date by calling +91 9540160277.
- We suggest FTL or part load and the right truck size.
- You receive a written quote and confirm the booking.
- The truck is loaded and you receive the LR and driver contact.
- The goods are delivered and the receiver signs the LR.
On a two or three day trip it helps to know where the goods are. We can send a GPS tracking link, or the truck's location whenever you call between 9 am and 6 pm (Monday to Saturday). Cover for the goods on their declared value is optional; the transit insurance page explains how it works.
