Sriperumbudur and Oragadam sit less than an hour from where the highway enters Chennai, and between them they hold assembly plants, component makers and a large contract workforce. Nalgonda, Guntur, Nellore — the Shape of the Drive
The carrier leaves Hyderabad south-east and is past Nalgonda within a couple of hours. Guntur and Ongole follow on good four-lane road, and Nellore marks the last long stop before the Tamil Nadu border. The final stretch into Chennai is the slowest part, not because of the surface but because it merges into city traffic well before the destination.

Interstate car transport by road into Tamil Nadu passes a commercial check post at the state boundary, where the carrier’s permit and manifest are inspected. Your car is listed on that manifest as freight. Nothing is required from you and no charge is payable by you at the border, but the document folder has to be complete when the truck leaves Hyderabad — which is exactly why we take copies at pickup rather than asking for them later.
If you plan to re-register the vehicle on a TN plate, that is a separate process at the Chennai RTO after delivery, with its own road-tax component. We do not handle it and we will not pretend we can.
